Redwood Outdoors sells traditional saunas: barrels, cabins and other outdoor shapes from 2 to 10 seats, and three indoor cabins. Most are built from Canadian Thermowood or heat-treated hemlock, which the brand says is FSC certified.
Each sauna comes with an electric heater, usually a 6kW or 8kW Harvia KIP, with upgrades to Harvia Spirit or Virta or to Homecraft heaters. The brand also sells sauna and cold plunge packages.

Before you order from Redwood Outdoors
- All heaters run on 240V and must be hardwired by a certified electrician, per the brand: 30A for the 6kW KIP, 40A for 8kW, 50A for the 9kW Homecraft and 10.5kW Virta. Lighting needs 120V.
- Saunas ship crated by freight. Listed weights run from 800 lb for the indoor cabins to over 1,500 lb for the Grove.
- Outdoor models need a base that carries the full weight, drains, and sits within reach of your electrical connection.
- The 1-year sauna warranty is shorter than some brands offer; weigh it alongside the price.
